Vivian Yvonne Turbeville Gilbert, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home with her husband by her side. Born May 8, 1936 in Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Foster William Turbeville, Sr. and Maybelle Case Turbeville. Yvonne was a talented artist and a member of Eureka Baptist Church for over 50 years where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and served on several committees. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 65 years, Arnold M. Gilbert, Sr.; children, Arnold M. "Buddy" Gilbert, Jr. (Karen), and Vivian Leigh "Punky" Gilbert Griffith (Mickey); brother, Bill Turbeville (Susie); five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren with one on the way. Also surviving is her beloved dog, Bobby. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Wright and Dr. Ron Fousek officiating.
