Vivian Ann Hanks, age 60, of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 1, 1957 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Jean Ann Dove Goldsmith of Anderson, SC and the late Johnny Goldsmith. She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother; also known as "Maw-Maw". In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jimmy Wayne Hanks; son, Jeffrey Wayne Hanks (Lucy Louise); brothers, Mike Goldsmith (Pam) and Gary Goldsmith (Velta); sister, Sylvia Brown (Alan) and three grandchildren, Elijah Hanks, Luke Hanks and Noah Hanks. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, Sept 14, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:30 pm Friday in the chapel with Rev. Larry McCall officiating.
