Vivian Gunnells Hart, age 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Born May 3, 1934, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Gunnells and Cornelia Timmerman Stephens. She was married for 65 years to William Herbert "Red" Hart until his death in 2020.

Vivian, affectionately known as "Sis", was a graduate of Girls High and retired from Orr-Lyons Mill. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Perry Hart (Cathy) of Anderson, SC, and Stan Hart (Barbara) of Bartow, FL; brother, Bill Gunnells of Anderson, SC; sister, Betty Rhodes of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Paul Johnson (Dawn) of Salem, SC, Kimberly Slaton (Oscar) of Anderson, SC, and Jeffery Slaton (Brooke) of Pendleton, SC; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Owen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Hill Baptist Church, 909 Plantation Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
