Morrison, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Anderson Place.Born in Anderson County, SC on November 19, 1923, Mrs. Morrison was a daughter of the late Harrison Campbell and Hassie Dowis Campbell. She was a retired rural carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.She is survived by a daughter, Ann M. Straughan of Greensboro, GA and a son, H. Steve Morrison of Stuart, FL; a sister, Ruth Aiken of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Carithers; two brothers, and four sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverend Tom Turner. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the home of a grandson, Michael Morrison, 416 Chestnut Boulevard, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
