Vivian Wilma Whitfield Wright, 87, of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at NHC of Anderson. Born August 2, 1930, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert Lee Whitfield and the late Millie Bannister Whitfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Theron Wright and brother, James Whitfield. Vivian had worked for Abney Mills and Seabrook Inc. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Al Wright (DeeAnn) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Jackie Lowe (Danny) of Anderson, SC; sisters, Martha Meeks of Belton, SC, Becky Henry of Anderson, SC and Lynn Crittendon (John) of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Lowe, Nicole Cromer (Adam), Duncan Wright, and Taylor Fitch and three great-grandchildren, Allie Grace Cromer, Lacie Nicole Cromer, Jayden William Lowe. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am-12:00 pm Thursday, May 17, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:30pm with Pastor Tom Owen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her sister, Lynn Crittendon (Harpers Ridge) at other times.
