ANDERSON, SC VLADIMIR LUKOMSKIY Vladimir Lukomskiy, age 80, of 4941 Trail Road, Iva, passed away at AnMed Health and Medical Center on Friday, April 18, 2014. Born in Rudnya, Ukraine, on December 15, 1933, he was son of the late Yefim Lukomskiy and the late Domicia Lukomskiy. While in Ukraine, he was a carpenter in residential construction, and was also a farmer as was customary in his home country. For 59 years, he was the devoted husband of Anastasiya Kravets Lukomskiy of the home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lukomskiy is survived by 2 sons, Nickolay Lukomskiy and his wife, Maria, of Westfield, MA, and Alexander Lukomskiy and his wife, Galina of Sedalia, MO; 1 daughter, Galina Khomichuk and husband, Viktor, of Belton; 2 brothers, Nikolay Lukomskiv and wife, Sophia, of Rochester, NY, and Stanislav Lukomskiv and his wife, Tatyana, of Sacramento, CA; 2 sisters, Maria Panasuk of Sacramento, CA, and Nina Lukomskiy of the Ukraine. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, with interment to follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
