Vonnie Eaton Mitchell, 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at McCall Hospice House. Born July 29, 1930 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late John Eaton and Beulah Eaton. She was married to the late Robert "Bob" K. Mitchell. Vonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a faithful member of Homeland Park United Methodist Church. She was formerly employed with Orr Mill. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Skelton and her husband Jimmy of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Tammy Gregg (Wallace), Amanda Cartagine (Keith) and Jimmy Skelton; and great-grandchildren, Corbin Cartagine, Porter Gregg and Bates Gregg. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30pm Sunday, September 29, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00pm with Rev. Mari Gonlag officiating. Burial will follow in Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Bobbie and Jimmy Skelton.
