Michael Wade Landreth, 59, of Pendleton, SC, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1961 in Anderson, SC, and was the son of the late Johnny Landreth, Sr. and Bonnie Owen Landreth. Wade was a 1979 graduate of Pendleton High School and was the owner and operator of Wade's Appliance. Wade was known for his laughter, having a servant's heart and love of people. He served the citizens of Anderson County for 41 years as a volunteer fireman. He was an active and faithful member of LaFrance Church of God. Those left to cherish his memory will remember him as a devoted firefighter, husband, father and PaPaw. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Kelli" Wilson Landreth; children, Jessica Landreth and Michael Landreth (Shelby); stepchildren, Casey Nix and Christopher Nix; granddaughter, Hazel Grace Landreth; and brothers, Johnny Landreth, Jr. and James Landreth. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home, Anderson, SC. The funeral service with fireman honors will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 3:00 pm at LaFrance Church of God with Rev. Roger Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson, SC. Social distancing will be observed and masks are required at all times.
