Mrs. Waldine Wilson Tidwell, age 90, wife of the late Eugene B. Tidwell, died Monday, December 08, 2008, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Robinson, Illinois on May 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Wilson and Ressa Zellers Wilson. Mrs. Tidwell was a homemaker, a loving mother, and a member Anderson Christian Fellowship.Survivors include her son, Gene Tidwell and wife, Barbara of Central; her daughter, Linda Tidwell of Anderson; and her granddaughter, Michelle Tidwell of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and Wendall Wilson.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2008, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Chuck Hill. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 12, 2008, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.The family will be at the residence, 602 Camfield Road.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Christian Fellowship, 1109 Mountain Spring Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Hospice of The Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
