Wallace Garvin Woods, Jr., age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Born August 27, 1958, in Marietta, SC, he was the son of Doris P. McNeely and her husband Charles C. McNeely, and the late Wallace Garvin Woods, Sr.

Wallace, affectionately known as Woody, played golf at University of South Carolina - Spartanburg and also attended Spartanburg Methodist College and Central Wesleyan College, where he earned a bachelor's degree. He was the owner and operator of Foothills Dry Cleaning for over 20 years. Woody was an avid outdoorsman who loved cycling and camping. In his later years, he was dedicated to building his home in Belize where he spent as much time as possible.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his daughter, Wallace Ann Vaughan (Tyler) of Greenville; brother, Jeffrey B. Woods (Amanda) of Pendleton; and sister, Diane Chastain (Jerry) of Greenwood.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00-4:00 at The McDougald Event Center, 2303 N. Main St., Suite C, Anderson, SC.
