KENNETH BAILEY December 28, 1939 - July 6, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Walter Kenneth Bailey, age 66, husband of Brenda Ann Bobo Bailey of 3017 S. Main Street, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on December 28, 1939, Mr. Bailey was a son of the late Walter Quincy Bailey and Margaret Hanna Haynie Bailey. He was a retired Pipeline Construction worker and a member of the Pipeline Construction Union #798 and a retired carpenter. He was a member of the River of Life Church of God in Anderson.Survivors include his wife, Brenda Ann Bobo Bailey of the home; sons, Ken Bailey and his wife, Dana of Anderson, SC, Chad Bailey of Hilton Head, SC and Travis Bailey of Anderson, SC; daughters, Vanessa Bailey and Tonya Bailey, both of Anderson, SC; a brother, Melvin Bailey of Anderson, SC; a sister, Linda Dorsey of Anderson, SC; five grandchildren, Tonisha Bailey, Wesley Williams, Jessica Bailey, Kensley Bailey and Nathan Bailey, all of Anderson, SC.He was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Grant and Margaret Deloris Bailey. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the River of Life Church of God, formerly McDuffie Street Church of God, officiated by the Rev. Ken Anderson and Dr. Stoney Abercrombie. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
