He was retired from the Waffle King and was a member of Wellington Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a United States Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V.Survivors include his wife, Shirley Pettigrew Harrison; a step-son, Anthony Pettigrew of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Bonnie Harrison Hart of Anderson, SC and four step-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Alvin Lee Harrison, Dank Harrison, Jr., William Henry Harrison, Winston Harrison and Bruce Albert Harrison; a sister, Ruth Gilliam Stone and a step-son, William Pettigrew.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Fants Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bob Hart & Rev. Mac Gilliam.Interment will follow in Fants Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 31, 2005 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Rev.
