Walter Francis Tabol, Jr., age 70, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Born in Uniontown, PA on March 23, 1947, Walter was the son of Walter Francis Tabol, Sr. and Bertha Barbara Gall Tabol. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Walter was a 20-year employee of Eastern Airlines. In 2008, he retired from his subsequent career with the Department of Homeland Security. A member of Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, Walter was an accomplished gardener and a lifetime fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Jeffrey Davis Tabol; daughter, Mary Anna Tabol; brother, Bernard Tabol; nieces, Charity Tabol and Hope Alexander Bennett; and nephew, Keith Alexander. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with Father Michael Patrick Jones officiating, followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the Whitaker Family Cemetery in Mill Branch, KY.
