Walter Caldwell Thompson, III, age 71, passed away on April 28, 2016. Born in Atlanta, GA, he was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, of 28 years, Linda Goldie Thompson;children, Wayne Goldie and his wife Rhonda, of Tennessee, Barbara McKinney and her husband Robert, of Iva, SC, Bill Bennett, Jr. and his wife Angela, of Naples, FL, Valerie Peoples and her husband James, of Ohio, April Deaver and her husband Steven, of Iva, SC, and Mickey Bennett, of Naples, FL; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
