CANTRELLAugust 8, 1930 - January 12, 2012 ANDERSON, SCWanda 'Muv' Nicholson Cantrell, age 81, of 2022 Mullinax Drive, wife of the late Okie Jessie Cantrell, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her residence.Born in Royston, GA on August 8, 1930, Mrs. Cantrell was a daughter of the late Fred Alexander Nicholson and Love Brown Nicholson. She was a graduate of Girls' High School and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with 38 years of service. She was a member of Asbury Baptist Church and had been very involved with the Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Program. She was very passionate about her family, and was an avid gardener, cook and Clemson Fan. Survivors include children: Lo O'Dell of Anderson; Carolyn C. Williams and her husband, David of Knoxville, TN and daughter-in-law, Joan Cantrell of Anderson; 10 grandchildren, Jeir and Ryan Wilbanks, Mandy Edens, Alisha Hewlett, Jason Hollingsworth, Jason and Mary Beth Williams, T. J. and Bill Martin and April Hopkins; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by son; David Okie Cantrell; brothers, James Nicholson, Andrew Nicholson and Fred 'Jack' Nicholson; sisters, Kathryn N. Whiten and Louise N. Harbin; granddaughter, Angela Rae Williams and son-in-law, Ernie O'Dell.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Delennon Stowe officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
