Waymon Stephens Harbin, Sr., age 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born February 9, 1952, in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Stephens Harbin and Bobbie Jean McKitrick Harbin.

Waymon was a professional painter and millwright. He previously attended Oakwood Baptist Church where he was baptized and Villa Baptist Church where he was a deacon. To everyone that knew him, "It's going on and on."

He is survived by his children, Teressa Harbin, Waymon S. Harbin, Jr., Billy Harbin, and Dori Dickson (Brian); mother of his children, Terry Harbin Flint; grandchildren, Ethan (Shelby), Jace (Kensleigh), Grant (Marisa), and Will; great grandchildren, Paislyn, Kye, Portlyn, Mac, Pruitt, and Adalynn; sisters, Sharon Wright, Karen Porter, Barbara Burdette (Ronnie), and Sheila Powell (Joseph); sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bearden (Joey); brother-in-law, John Hitt (Ethel) and predeceased by brother-in-law, Jimmy Hitt; his many nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Regina, Shaun, Krystal, Daniel, Corey, Amanda, Haley, Holly, Kevin, Anna, Brittany, John, and Jessica.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 6, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Silvey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
