Mr. Machen was a construction worker and a member of Poplar Spring Baptist Church.Surviving are his brothers, Jackie and Gerald Machen, both of Iva, Jimmie Machen of Anderson, and Terry and Charles Machen, both of Starr; sisters, Mamie Hall of Donalds and Sylvia Hall of Atoka, TN;In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Machen.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend George Hill.
