Ernest Wayne Powell, 55, of Anderson, SC passed away passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his home. Born November 18, 1962, in Union, SC, he was a son of the late Ernest Clarence Powell and the late Thelma Martin Powell. He was a line technician for Charter Communications, where he was a hard worker and dedicated to his job and co-workers. He was a loyal, devoted and loving family man, who enjoyed working around the home. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patty Robinson Powell of the home; children, Tennie Powell, Lisa Brucke and Joshua Powell; sisters, Dianne Osteen and Linda Gamble; also survived by his five grandchildren, Skyler Brucke, Braylen Fuller, Nala Fuller, Tyler Powell and Amy Powell.
