We would also like to thank the Emory University Hospital System, specifically: Dr. David Monson, Dr. Natalyn Hawk, Dr. Karen Godette, Dr. Allan Pickens, as well as Wendie's entire medical team of doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff for their dedication, skill, care, and commitment to their profession. Wendie was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, and sister who was passionate about living for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of her strong desire to know Him better each day, He used her many talents to touch so many throughout every area of her life. Her joyful soul was an inspiration that was unforgettable and she had a peace and inner joy that made anyone she met instantly comfortable and eager for the next conversation. Even in the midst of pain and suffering, Wendie always had a beautiful smile on her face and would turn her attention away from herself to pray and serve others. She was warm, sincere, and carried herself with heavenly grace and beauty. She praised God by purposely doing everything with excellence to the best of her ability, and in true fashion has led the way by showing all of us how to live on this earth. Her soul is alive and well and we look forward to joining her in Heaven!
