Wilbur Augustus Hall, Jr., age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born June 8, 1937, in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of the late Wilbur Augustus Hall, Sr. and Eleanor Burris Seawright. He was married to the love of his life, Anne K. Hall, for 64 years until her death in 2023. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Anne Evans; and sister, Carol B. Hall.

Sonny was a hard worker who always provided for his family. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. During his school years, he played football, baseball, was a member of the swimming and diving team, and was president of the Distributive Education Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling to the mountains and going antiquing. He was also a lifelong Gamecock fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Suzannah Hall, Melanie Hindman (David), and Lori Hall (Joe); grandchildren, Kaitlan Floyd (Hunter), Tennyson Turbeville, Christian Watson, and Nigel Watson; great grandchildren, Caroline, Millee, Ryder, and Atlas; and brother, Dr. Robert A. Hall.

The family will host a celebration of life on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Pope Drive Baptist Church.
