Norris, age 92, of Concord Road, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at National Healthcare Center. Born in Franklin County, Georgia, on January 25, 1917, he was a son of the late W.A. Norris and Lettie Lecroy Norris. Mr. Norris retired from the textiles industry and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ester Vickery Norris, of the home; son, Danny R. Norris and wife, Beverly, of Summerville, SC; daughter, Emilie N. Rowland and husband, Larry, of Anderson, SC; stepsons: David Vickery and wife, Judy, of Upland, Calif., and Ray Vickery and wife, Dianne, of Greenville, SC; grandchildren: Shane Norris and wife, Rebecca, of Normal, IL, and Jamie Barnes and wife, Saundra, of Anderson, SC; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; sisters: Geraldine Hunter Butts and husband, Jack, Evelyn Beusse and husband, Joe, and Ruby Evans, all of Anderson.His parents; his first wife in 1992, Mary B.
