GREG BAXTER June 14, 1958 - July 9, 2012 ANDERSON, SC William Gregory Baxter, age 54, of 618 Plantation Road, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, he was the son of Barbara Jean Shaw Baxter of Anderson and the late Jimmy L. Baxter. Greg was employed with First Quality. He was known for his joking sense of humor. He was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother; a brother, Kevin Baxter of Pickens; and an aunt, Laura Shaw of Anderson. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Baxter; and his grandparents, Bill and Frances Acker Shaw and Ira and Annie Baxter. The Funeral service to honor the life of Greg will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Olin Baxter and Reverend Wayne Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM.
