Mr. William "Bill" Luther Moore, 77 of Anderson, SC died on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at An-Med Health Medical Center. Bill worked as a manager at Wamsutta Mills for most of his career and retired to become a sheriff's deputy with the Anderson County Sherriff's Department. He was the son of the late William Lee and Lettie Ruth Wilson Moore born on February 16th, 1939 in Anderson County. Surviving are his loving wife: Shelba Chastain Moore; his children: Gregory W. Moore and wife Angie and Vickie Evans and husband Wayne all of Anderson, SC; his sisters: Dot Bryant and husband Gary of Anderson, SC, Mary Woodhurst of Troy, AL, and Pat Harrison and husband Bobby of Isle of Palms, SC; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Anderson. The Moore family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30-1:30pm on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at The McDougald Funeral Home.
