WILLIAM WEBB BROWN May 10, 1917 - January 30, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. William Webb Brown, age 88, of 3041 Sunset Forest Road, Anderson, SC, and husband of the late Mary Doris Allen Brown, died in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on May 10, 1917, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Thomas Brown and Essie Rumsey Brown. He worked for 50 years with J. P. Stevens Company, Appleton Plant before retiring in 1982. He was a United States Army World War II veteran having served in Australia as a military policeman.He is survived by a daughter, Linda Nightingale of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Leonard and Clarence Brown and two sisters, Maybelle Kinley and Estelle Brown.A graveside service will be held with military honors by the Upstate Veterans Honor Guard on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 2:00 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan.The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.The family will be at the residence.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comTHE MC DOUGALD FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
