WILLIAM "DICKIE" BUSBY February 12, 1945 - March 29, 2013 ANDERSON, SC William Isaac Busby, age 68, of 398 Plantation Road, Anderson, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence. Born in Elberton, GA, he was the son of the late Isaac Hodges Busby and the late Ella Louise Chitwood Busby. William proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Clark Schwebel and Culp Woven Velvets for many years. He attended church services at The Salvation Army. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Mauldin Busby; four sons, Paul Glenn Busby, James Allen Busby, Mark Nicholas Busby and Chris William Busby; a sister, Cathy Edison; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen McLane officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery with Military Honors The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
