WILLIAM 'BILL' JONES August 13, 1936 - April 28, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. William Edward Jones, age 71, husband of Nancy Fowler Jones of 217 Loblolly Drive, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC on August 13, 1936, Mr. Jones was a son of the late James Harold 'Happy' Jones and Evelyn Osteen Jones. He was a graduate of Boys' High School and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Ruff Masonic Lodge and the Hejaz Shriners. He also attended Nell Townsend Presbyterian Church.Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Keith Edward Jones of Greenville, Scott Y. Jones and his wife, Kelli and their two children, Noah and Lauren Jones; brother, Harold Jones and his wife, Linda; sisters, Marion Turner and her husband, Lewis and Judy Wetterman and her husband, Jim; brother-in-law, Jimmy King and mother-in-law, Florence Fowler, all of Anderson.He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Evelyn King.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Jackie Arnold. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.
