Born in Alto, GA on July 7, 1929, Mr. Fuller was a son of the late Charles Daniel Fuller and Rosa Lou Wilson Fuller. He served in the United States Army and retired from Wellington Mill. He was a member of West Anderson Church of God and a former member of McDuffie Street Church of God. He was the Sunday School teacher for the Men's Bible Class at both churches. Survivors include his children, Jean Smith and her husband, Bob, Patricia Turman and her husband Clarence, Don Fuller, Danny Fuller, and Wanda Whitfield and her husband, Mark; 14 grandchildren with two being raised in the home, Kim Mitchell and her husband, Rickey and Denise 'Nesi' Tant and her husband Kiki; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and brother, James Fuller.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Brown; son, Barry Fuller; brother, Howard Fuller and sisters, Flossie Argo and Mildred Waldrop.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm at West Anderson Church of God officiated by the Reverends Mark Daniel and John Daniel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mr. Fuller will be placed in the church at 1:30 pm on Saturday.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.The family will be at the home of his daughter, Wanda Whitfield, 506 Weldon Way, Anderson, SC.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
