WILLIAM HEFNER August 17, 1924 - March 5, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. William Daniel Hefner, age 81, formerly of 109 Willow Wood Lane, Anderson, SC and husband of the late Valaris 'Tommie' Elitha Smith Hefner, died Sunday, March 05, 2006 at Ellenburg Nursing Home in Anderson, SC.Born in Lando, SC on August 17, 1924, Mr. Hefner was a son of the late William Daniel Hefner, Sr., and Cora Lee Hefner. He was formerly in the construction business and was the owner of M. H. Structure. He was of the Church of God Faith.Survivors include a daughter, Wanda K. Farrow and her husband, Perry Lee Farrow, Jr., of Anderson, SC; a sister, Louise Harris of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Penny Kay Sellers and her husband, Glenn Edwin Sellers, Kayla Ashton Farrow and Aaron Perry Farrow and two great-grandchildren, Glinn Laurel Sellers and Olivia Grace Sellers.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Sonny Hefner; twin brother and sister, Derriell Hefner and Sherriell Hefner; seven sisters and two brothers.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Mark Daniel and John Daniel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
