William Dwight Henderson, 67, of Williamston, SC, went to meet his Heavenly Father this Thursday morning, June 11, 2020 after a long illness. During his illness, he was lovingly cared for by Divine Hospice at his home. Born June 30, 1952 in Williamston, he was a son of the late Thomas Troy Henderson and Mary Alice Calvert Henderson. Dwight was retired with 39 years of service with Michelin North America-Greenville. In his spare time, he enjoyed building, golfing, racing and he had a love for old cars. He was a member of High Praises Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Nancy Elaine Chappelear Henderson; son, William Mark Henderson and his wife, Tammy; granddaughter, Tiffany Biggs and her husband, Zachery; and brother, Michael Henderson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Sophia Rene Biggs; and brother, Keith Henderson. Family and friends may pay their respects by signing the Guest Register on Saturday, June 13, 2020 between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
