BILL JAMES January 27, 1945 - September 22, 2005ANDERSON, SCMr. William Edwin James, Jr., age 60, husband of Harriet Martin James of 2510 Lindale Road, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Sumter, SC, he was a son of Mary Wham James of Sumter, SC and the late William Edwin James, Sr. He was retired from the City of Anderson Business License Department and served on the Board of Directors of Surfmaster in Garden City, SC where he was also former president. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and the Abundant Grace Sunday School class. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Meloni Patrice James of Anderson, SC; a son, Van Martin James of Anderson, SC and a brother, John C. James of Sumter, SC.Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 2:30 pm at Oakwood Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends Brent Armstrong and Mark Daniel. The players and umpires of the 'A' Softball Team of Oakwood Baptist Church will serve as honorary escort.
