Krempel. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Krempel was the retired owner of Krempel's Bakery in Massillon, Ohio ' having owned it for twenty-five years. He was a member of St. Mary of the Angel's Catholic Church, the American Legion, and the Moose Club. Mr. Krempel performed with the Senior Follies and the Barbershop Quartet until he lost his eyesight.Survivors include his wife, Catherin Rhodes Collins Krempel, of the home; his only daughter, Linda K. Vaughn and husband, Mark of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren: Heather Vaughn and Derek Vaughn, both of Anderson, SC, and Heidi Vaughn of Columbia, SC; his stepson, Bobby Collins and wife, Elaine, and their children: Danny Collins, Randall Collins and wife, Stacey, and Crystal Collins, all of Anderson, SC.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Mary L. Krempel; brothers: Max, Joe, and Al Krempel; and sisters: Marie Tyler and Irma Gehring. He was the last of his siblings.The Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at St. Mary of the Angel's Catholic Church celebrated by Father Aubrey O. McNeal, OFM. A Graveside Service and Interment will follow in Brookfield Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio at a later date.
