BILLY MCLEROY, III DECEMBER 9, 1953 - NOVEMBER 10, 2012 ANDERSON, SC William Frank McLeroy, III, age 58, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Sumter, SC, he was the son of the late William Frank McLeroy, II and Mary Irene Simmons McLeroy. He was a graduate of Berea High School in Greenville, SC where he held several records in Track and Field and excelled in Football. Billy was retired from Michelin Tire Corporation in Anderson after 37 years and was a member of Agnew Road Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Billy's love was fishing; he enjoyed being out on the water, with his fishing rod in hand. Billy was a devoted father to his children, Taylor Evan McLeroy and Kristin Lee McLeroy, both of Anderson. He is also survived by brothers, Kenneth Dale McLeroy and his wife Debbi of Greenville, Jeffery Scott McLeroy and his wife, Kim of Pickens; sister, Donna Lynn Terry and her husband, JD of Arkansas; his best friend and fishing buddy, Brian Kelly; and Terri Waldrop, his loving companion. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Dr. Kirt Mitchell, officiating. The family is at the home.
