BILL MORRIS July 28, 1925 - February 27, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. William Campbell Morris, age 80 of 524 Drayton Circle, Anderson, SC, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Pendleton, SC on July 28, 1925, Mr. Morris was a son of the late Paul Jones Morris and Annie Campbell Morris. He was retired from Duke Power and after retirement worked for Pike Electric. He was a Hejaz Shriner, a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge and was a United States Navy World War II veteran. He was a lifelong member of Concord Baptist Church in Anderson.He is survived by his wife, Loretta Pressley Morris; a sister, Sallye M. Teitler of Williamston, SC; brother-in-law, C. L. Pressley and his wife, Margaret of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law, Betty Morris of Anderson, SC. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a great-great-niece also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Morris.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Randy E. Blank and Bob Marcaurelle. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson, SC.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
