William Eugene Nalley Anderson, SC William Eugene Nalley, age 73, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Oconee County, SC, on November 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Joe Nalley and Essie Orr Nalley. William was a graduate of Anderson College and Erskine College where he earned a BA in History. He worked at The Singer Company for many years in the Shipping and Receiving Department. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Whitfield Nalley; a sister, Betty Jo Thompson and her husband Swain, of Anderson, SC; several brothers and sisters-in-law, many beloved nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and his dog "Winston". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Grace Nalley. The Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ignatius Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall following the service. Interment will be scheduled for a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of his sister, Betty Jo Thompson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 Cornelia Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
