William Randolph Pearson, age 89, of Honea Path, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at his home. Born December 22, 1932, in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late James Carlisle "Tully" Pearson and Mildred Easter Satterfield Pearson. He was married to Catherine V. Hart Pearson until her death in 2007. William was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from BASF with over 23 years of service with the company. He was a member of Cross Hill Church of God. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Franklin D. Hart; sister-in-law, Ethel Mae McCoy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Louis "Jug" Pearson, Sam Pearson, Pelham H. Pearson and James Elbert Pearson; and sisters, Earline P. Hammonds and Orena P. Davis. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 11:00 am at Cross Hill Church of God with Rev. Larry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
