'Robbie' Robertson, Jr. of Townville, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 after a battle with cancer at the Hospice of the Upstate, Anderson, SC.Surviving are a daughter, Fran R. Bennett, of W. Palm Beach, FL; a brother, H. Metz Robertson and wife, Karen B. of Travelers Rest; nephews and one niece, and a very special companion, Vickie Owens of Greer.He was predeceased by a sister, Doris R. Wood of Travelers Rest.He was in the Navy Air Force, World War II and a retired employee of Bell South.A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Townville Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Reverend M.S. Douglas.
