WILLIAM 'BILL' WEAVER November 4, 1924 - November 3, 2005ANDERSON, SCMr. William Harris Weaver Jr., age 80, husband of Gelola 'Jo' Bradley Weaver of 500 Chestnut Boulevard, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson, SC.Born in Rock Hill, SC, he was a son of the late William Harris Weaver, Sr., and Janie Mishow Weaver. He moved from Wilmington, NC in 1967 to Anderson with the starting of Wamsutta Mills. He retired as a supervisor and later worked with the Perry Correctional Institute. He was in the United States Navy serving in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Gelola 'Jo' Bradley Weaver of the home; a sister, Dorothy Ashley of Mauldin, SC; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William Scott Weaver and Michael Brett Weaver and a brother, James Weaver.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverends Brent Armstrong and Jack Dean. Interment will follow in Flat Rock Cemetery, Starr, SC with military honors.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.Flowers are optional.
