Wilson, age 76, of 435 Old Asbury Road, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010.Born February 22, 1934, William was a son of the late Curry and Mayzelle Powell Wilson. He retired from the textile industry and was a Baptist.Survivors include a son, William C. Wilson, Jr. of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Tonya Wilson of Anderson, SC; two step-sons, Andy and Jason Davis, both of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Douglas R. Wilson of Perry, GA and Gary S. Wilson of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Terry Aldridge of Whittier, NC; one granddaughter, Krimson Brown and one great-grandson, Campbell Alton Martin.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverends John Daniel and Ken Whitt. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 26, 2010, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
