OBITUARY/ FLAGBILL BRYANTFebruary 6, 1925 ' 08/30/2008ANDERSON, SCWillie Eugene 'Bill' Bryant, Jr., age 83, husband of Ann Wilson Bryant of 199 Serena Circle, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson County on February 6, 1925, Mr. Bryant was a son of the late Willie Eugene Bryant and Mattie Wilson Bryant. He attended Belton High School and was retired from Johnson Motor Lines and the US Postal Service. Mr. Bryant was a life long member of Long Branch Baptist Church and Hiram Masonic Lodge. He was a United States WWII Army veteran.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Teresa Meeks and her husband Jim of Anderson; one granddaughter, Candi Scott and her husband Ryan and their children, Kinsey and Elise Scott of Anderson; his brother, Truman Bryant of Anderson and his sisters, Frances Parnell of Belton, SC and Bonnie McGee of Anderson. He is also survived by a special Aunt, Tecie Bryant of Anderson.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Herbert Bryant.The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 1, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Long Branch Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Wayne Watson and Reverend Alex Henderson.
