Willie Lois Walters Burdette, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Fair Play, SC, on September 22, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Marrit Walters. She was a graduate of Girl's High School, and was of the Baptist Faith. Willie loved her family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, James Ray Burdette of the home; her daughters, Tania Thrower, of Jacksonville, FL, and Sheila Barrett and her husband Rickey, of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Daniel Tredinnick (Jennlynn), Dean Barrett (Stacy), Celine Barrett, and Kara Tredinnick; and four great-grandchildren, Nashaye, Aiden, Celenia, and Noah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Gary Deadwyler; six brothers; and four sisters. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:30 at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Reverend T.W. McGuffin officiating.
