He served in the United States Navy during 1955 until 1959. He was of the Baptist Faith.In addition to his mother,survivors include his sisters, Geneva Rose Wilson of Sumter, SC and Annie Bell Davis of Anderson, SC and was loved by his nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Gaynell Hubbard.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Mike Harrell.
