William Walter "Willie" Evans, Jr., age 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 28, 1936, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late William Walter Evans and Bertha Trotter Evans. He was formerly employed at True Temper in supervision and retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a long-time faithful member of Bishop Branch Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Stacey Evans; brother, Tommy Evans; three grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his companion, Brenda King; stepdaughter, Shelley Croft; and other extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Parker; brother, Paul Hood; and sisters, Alice Crain and Ruby Evans. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Bishop Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smoak officiating.
