Mrs. Willie Mae Stewart King, 71, formerly of Anderson, SC died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in West Columbia at the Lexington Medical Center. Mrs. King was born on March 17, 1942 to the late William Bill Stewart and Hallie Mae McEachern Stewart in Anderson, SC. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Mrs. King is survived by a son: Brad King and wife Rhonda of Lexington, SC; a daughter Wendy Adkins and husband Kyle of Bethesda, MD; nine grandchildren: Heather Callahan, Dustin Walker, William "Mackie" King, IV, Rachel Riley, Thomas King, Andrew King, Ashley Adkins, Elizabeth Adkins, and Sarah Adkins; one great grandchild: Emery Riley; and one brother: Darius Stewart and wife Clevie of Anderson, SC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by one son: William Matt King, III and her Husband: Milton Lamar King. A funeral service will be held at The Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday morning, January 25th, 2014 at 11:00am with the Dr. Marshall Tribble officiating. Interment will follow the service at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Anderson, SC. The family of Mrs. King will receive friends Friday evening, January 24th, 2014 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6-8:00pm. Flowers are acceptable for memorials.
