Mrs. Mitchell was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include her children: daughter, Betty Moon of Anderson; sons: Rufus Mitchell, Jr. and Billy Mitchell, both of Anderson, and Jack Mitchell of Greenwood; brothers, James Allison of Charlotte, NC and Alvin Allison of Greenville. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Rufus Mitchell, Sr.; a daughter, Barbara Holliday; sisters: Lucille Turner and Ollie White; and brothers: Lewis, Carl, Dewey, and Joe Allison.The Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
