Willie Louise Cason Porter, 82, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born September 23, 1936, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Henry Summers and Annie Macie Timms Cason. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and James Cason and sister, Gertrude Ford Rowland. She was retired from Glen Raven Mill. She is survived by her sons, Roger Joe Porter (Darlene) of Anderson and Daniel Burke of Starr; daughter, Patricia Brown (Danny) of Belton; brother, Bobby Cason of Anderson; sister, Ruby Shiflet of Anderson; five grandchildren, Brandon Allen, April Hansen, Chris Porter, Dwain Porter and Kevin Porter and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel at 12:30pm Thursday with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flat Rock Elementary Lunch Program, 115 Thompson Road, Anderson, SC 29624.
