ROBERT STALNAKER December 25, 1923 - April 2, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Willie Robert Stalnaker, 82, husband of Betty Chambers Stalnaker of 122 Camellia Drive, died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Ninety-Six, SC on December 25, 1923, Mr. Stalnaker was a son of the late Willie Henry Stalnaker and Ola Mae Davis Stalnaker. He was a Millwright in construction for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a United States Army World War II veteran serving the Pacific Theatre. In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by sons, Dale Stalnaker and his wife, Debby of Piedmont, and Rick Stalnaker and his wife, Rachel of Cornelius, NC and two grandchildren, Thomas Cody McIroy and Gabrielle Stalnaker.He was preceded in death by a brother, Hughes Stalnaker and a sister, Phyllis Stalnaker.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverends Steve Chambers and Bruce Chambers. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 6, 2006 from 6-8 pm.The family will be at the residence.The family suggest flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Upstate SC Chapter, 521 N.
