Willie Clarence "Billy" Tillman, 80, of Iva, SC, devoted husband to the late Martha Timms Tillman for 54 years until her death in 2016, passed away, Friday, January 15, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born April 11, 1940, in Abbeville Co., SC, he was the son of the late Johnny B. Tillman and the late Willie Ina Truette Tillman. Billy retired from the Thomas and Bowie Foundation where he worked as a farmer supervisor. He was very active in life through his work and sharing his faith in Christ. He was a dedicated member of Iva First Assembly of God. He is survived by his children, Clarence Tillman, Louise Wooten (Scottie), and Julie Tillman; siblings, Susie and J.W.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from Noon until 5:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Iva First Assembly of God. The funeral service will follow visitation at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Helen Sutherland and Rev. Jerry McCall officiating. For all services, social distancing will be observed and masks will be required. A private family burial will follow.
