Temples Anderson, SC Willene Powell Temples, age 92, wife of the late Madison J. Temples, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Hartwell, GA, on January 20, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Loyd Benson Powell and the late Lessie Bailey Powell. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class and the Joy Club. She is survived by a son, Madison Terry Temples and his wife, Gail of Anderson, SC; daughter, Gale Temples Dunagin and her husband, Harold of Simpsonville, SC; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Franklin, Hazel Loudermilk, Clara Cannon and Peggy Branyon all of Anderson, SC, and Jo Beth McKee of Greensboro, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Powell and Fred Powell. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her son, 102 Crosscreek Drive, Anderson, SC 29621 and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
