Rankin, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the County Heritage in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on May 11, 1919, Mrs. Rankin was the daughter of the late Alec Yeargin and Bell McClellan Yeargin. She was a homemaker and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. She, along with her husband operated Morton Tire Service.Survivors include her son, Jimmy L. Morton and his wife, Patricia of Anderson,SC; two granddaughters, Mandy Morton Reinert and her husband, Greg and their children, Samuel P. Reinert, William G. Reinert and Anna-Frances E. Reinert all of Anderson, SC and Angie Morton Lamont and her husband, Brock and their children, Ellison M. Lamont and Caden S. Lamont, all of Atlanta, GA. A step-son, William P. Rankin and his wife, Rema and step-daughter, Eleanor R. Robins and her husband John also survive. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Johnny McKinney.
