Wilma Bryant Watt, age 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at her home.
Born January 18, 1931, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Troy Bryant and Bessie Davis Bryant.
Wilma was a graduate of Girls High and was retired from Gallant Belk after many years of helping customers put together the latest fashions, loving every minute of it. She lived her life spreading joy and kindness to everyone who crossed her path. She was a great boss to George and anyone else she took under her wing. Wilma loved her children, adored her grandchildren, and was thrilled when the great grands began to arrive. She never met a stranger, loved a good joke, and was generous to a fault. She was truly one of a kind. Wilma was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, George Tucker Watt; son, Buhl B. Watt (Rita); daughter, Mary Watt Jamison (Douglas); sister, Carolyn Walters (Harvey); grandchildren, Bryant Jamison, Lexie Kelly (Kane), Gable Jamison (Anna), Dillon Watt (Ashton), and Alex Watt; and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Earle Bryant and Douglas Bryant.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10:00 am at Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Don Cox and Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Many thanks to her devoted son, wonderful neighbors, and loyal friends whose loving care and attention allowed her to live at home until she stepped into heaven.
